Matthew Kohut

Matthew Kohut has had considerable experience in the computer industry ever since receiving his first Apple II computer as a child. As the PC industry progressed through its first tentative years where terms like “DOS,” “hardware interrupts,” and “HIMEM,” were normal, he spent his free time breaking things and subsequently having to fix his own mistakes. Along the way, he learned a few things about what makes a well-designed PC with a great service experience.

As an offering development leader withing Lenovo’s Services Solutions Group, Matthew has responsibility for designing next generation endpoint Services. His team is tacking the challenges of Modern IT, hybrid work, and bringing to market ESG-focused offers. He and his team enable customers and Lenovo Business Partners to deliver efficient solutions, bending down the cost curve and focusing on outcomes, not just products.

Matthew joined the company first as a consultant to IBM business partners, and quickly became Lenovo's Worldwide Competitive Analyst. He has traveled around the world helping customers, sales reps, and business partners understand Lenovo product lines with an emphasis on purposeful design.

Matthew lives in Cary, NC with his wife and two children. He spends his free time with camping, photography, and home improvement projects.
